7 Quick & Easy Ways to Get Immediate Traffic to Your Site...

One of the most frequently asked questions is "how do I get more traffic to my site?", and quite rightly so because if there's no traffic, there's no income!

So what I've tried to do with this short report is give you 7 good methods you can use without being a computer genius. Some of them may seem simple but don't undervalue them, they're the same methods the top internet marketers use every day to generate their online income.

There are 2 key points:

=> Key 1: The first key with all these methods is to keep trying. Don't just give up at the first hurdle. Try one method, observe the results, improve it, try again, observe results, improve it, try again and so on.

Yes you will probably make mistakes and sometimes your efforts will fail, but that doesn't matter as long as you "Learn" from your mistakes and move on. Just don't make the same mistakes a second time!

The good news is that the more you use these methods the better you'll get and hopefully the more success you'll have. The hardest part is starting out. It's much easier to add to something than to create something for the first time.

=> Key 2: You need to take action to get results. This may sound a little obvious and maybe even patronising, but you'd be amazed at the amount of businesses out there who do not actively and consistently try and generate traffic. They try something once or twice and then sit back thinking that their advertising's taken care of for the year. They think that customers will just roll in for an infinite amount of time on the strength of a couple of adverts. The world doesn't work that way I'm afraid. If you put nothing in you'll get nothing out, it's as simple as that.

There are various traffic generating methods, and some may work better for you than others. Here are 7 methods which can give good results.

==> 1) Ezine Ads Ezine ads give great value for money if they are targeted correctly. Find eZines in your niche and place an ad in them. There are 3 types to suit your budget.
Classified Ads – Usually consist of 5 or 6 lines and are grouped in with 5 or more ads. This is the cheapest eZine ad.
Sponsor Ads – Similar to classified ads but can be 10 times as effective. They are mixed in with the content for readers, and are published by themselves near the top, middle or bottom.
Solo Ads – These are sent out on their own, not mixed in with other content or ads. As you would expect solo ads usually give the best results, but are also the most expensive.

If your budget is limited, start small and then re-invest the profits in a larger ad.

==> 2) Pay-Per-Click Search Engines With Pay-Per-Click Search Engines you Bid on traffic to your site.

You pick keywords related to your product or service. These are words you know your market will use when searching the net. You then bid for these keywords, and only pay when someone clicks on your advert. For example, if you supply budget computers, your keywords could be "cheap computers, buy cheap computer, cheap new computers, cheap computer uk, cheap good computer" etc, and for talking sake you pay 10p per clickthrough and receive 50 hits that day. You'd then owe £5.00 for the 50 people who clicked through your advert that day, whether they purchased something or not.

The key is coming up with a ton of keywords. Look at sites which have top rankings already & learn from them.

==> 3) Ad Trades This method requires you to already have a list established.

Find other sites in your niche and offer to trade ads with them. You publish their ad to your list, and they publish your ad to their list.

The ad trade is usually based on the size of the lists, and can still be done even when the lists are not of an equal size. For example, if your list has 1,000 names but the list of the other company has 3,000 names, then all you have to do is agree to publish their ad to your list 3 times, or alternatively publish 3 of their ads to your list, so that it equals them publishing your ad Once to their 3,000 prospects.

==> 4) Trade Links For this to work well you Must have valuable information on your site. Develop content people want to link to, and then promote your site to others in same market,
asking them if they wish to trade links. The better your content the higher the chance that they'll be interested in linking to you.

Most people you contact simply won't reply, or they'll turn you down. However a few will trade.

A point worthy of noting is, make sure that when you link to another site, they provide good quality content, products and/or services, as it will reflect on your site.

Add a separate links or resource page to your site, and make sure it opens in a new window so that customers are not taken away from your site.

==> 5) Co-Reg Companies Basically Co-Registration Companies take your advert and refer people to you. This method can build your lists very quickly, but it is not as targeted and usually takes longer to sell to these visitors.

This is because these people do not specifically click on your advert, they're grouped into categories based on the type of information they ticked on a form. It therefore takes time to separate out all the dead wood from the pile.

Another downside is that they have a high remove rate, partly because they are put into these groups, and partly because people forget they even subscribed.

The upside is that it's a cheap method, and can generate a lot of leads for a little cost.

==> 6) Free Stuff By giving away freebies that your market is desperately seeking, you can quickly increase traffic to you site.

Freebies could consist of:
Articles,
Downloads,
Links to valuable tools,
Software,
eBook's,
eCourse's.

Prospects will visit your site more readily than if you were simply trying to sell them something straight off. Once they're at your site getting the freebie, you then have an ideal opportunity to build a relationship with them, and hopefully at some point secure a sale.

==> 7) Clickthrough Banners This isn't nearly as exciting as the pay-per-click search engines, and is usually more expensive, but using clickthrough banners is another way to get targeted traffic to your web site for a relatively low price.

Some companies will give you the option of approving which sites promote your banners before they sign up. This is something that you need to do. It is very important if you don't want to waste your time and money.

To get the best results for your money you need to make sure that the sites you approve are in your target market, and are in the same language, otherwise you'll receive a lot of worthless clickthroughs. You also need to make sure that it is not just some freebie site promoting your banner, or you'll get a whole load of freebie seekers clicking through and costing you money!
